1001arearugs.com ships rugs all around the world direct to you.
Most rugs are rolled up and wrapped in at least one layer of heavy plastic and then shipped to your home or office.
There is a possibility that there be could some wrinkled areas of your new rug.
Please note, this not a defect.
The rug had not been perfectly rolled up or was bounced around in the handling.
Here are some of the best ways to smooth out a wrinkled rug.
You can spray a mist of some water on the top and back of the rug in the wrinkled areas.
You can reverse roll the rug in the opposite direction and leave it overnight.
You can use a hair drier on a low setting to soften the area.
Please be patient, eventually the wrinkles will come out in time with normal use.
1001arearugs.com has been serving our customers for over 35 years.
We do our best to make sure that you receive a perfect area rug.
Best regards,
Marvin President

The combination of light and dark colors is one of the most dramatic effects in design.
Black with white, blue with white or off white, blue with yellow, red with white or yellow, brown with white or cream are some of the many available contrasting color combinations. Light colors expand the space while the dark colors tend to bring the walls in closer. Sometimes a pale version of the same color will be paired with the dark version creating a monochromatic harmonious effect. White has the highest light value while black has the lowest light value. When strong geometric shapes are in the design the effect can be visually very stimulating. Almost any pale gold lightly tinted hue can be contrasted with black, navy blue or dark brown.
So let your imagination soar and browse our 15,000 different rug designs. 1001arearugs.com has the rug that will create the decorating theme that will make any room your own special creation.

The color wheel represents the colors of the spectrum and their relationship to one another. Sir Isaac Newton was the inventor of the color wheel. Newton experimented with light and when he passed sun light through a prism the colors that came out were in a spectrum like a rainbow. He arranged the colors in a circle starting with red then orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and returning to red.
Colors that appear opposite one another on the color wheel are considered Complementary Colors. Consider complementary colors you are looking for bright vibrant color combinations. Blue and orange or red and green are complementary colors.
Colors that are next to one another on the color wheel are considered to be analogous colors. Red and orange, green and blue create a harmonious effect in a room.
You can get a color wheel at your local art store and it will help you make important color decisions.
Your local paint store has a myriad of color swatches. They are usually free.

I have come up with an easy way to determine the best size for your area rug.
Just take four sheets of paper and place them where you would like the corners of your rug to be.
Then measure to the corners of the sheets of paper.
This should give you the optimal length and width for your rug.
Then go to our “Advanced Search” and input the minimum length and width and the maximum length.
You can also select from the “Theme”, “Construction”, “Materials”, and the “Shape” categories.
Then hit “Search” and the rugs that fit your requirement will be displayed.
Please give us a call if you have any difficulty with our “Advanced Search”.
Call 1-800-275-7020 and we will do our best to help you.
Best regards,
Marvin
